clf-logo-midWe believe that a thriving local, independent business community is crucial to strong neighborhoods and a vibrant City. Cambridge Local First works throughout the City, collaborating with business associations, city departments, and community leaders to support our independent businesses and make sure your voices are heard.

Our network of fellow business owners, nonprofit leaders, artists and concerned residents keep Cambridge Local First actively focused on:

Government Advocacy and Awareness

Cambridge Local First Government Affairs Committee members serve on significant City advisory boards and committees to ensure that information, ideas and feedback that concern our independent businesses gets to communicated to our business members. We work closely with every major business association in Cambridge keep independent business's well-being at the top of the City's agenda. And we issue letters of support and attend City meetings in person to ensure that your voice is heard.
