CLF COMMITTEE AND STAFF STRUCTURE

Administrative responsibilities and member coordination are managed by the Administrative Coordinator:

Cambridge Local First's daily operations are directed by a five-member volunteer Executive Committee of local business owners:
Laury Hammel, Clerk (Executive Director of SBN), BALLE co-founder)
Michael Kanter, Treasurer (owner, Cambridge Naturals)
Frank Kramer, Co-chair (former owner, Harvard Book Store)
Rachael Solem, Co-chair (owner, Irving House and Harding House)
Gerry Wolf (owner, 1369 Coffee House)
Policy decisions and overall mission direction are managed by a volunteer Steering Committee, which includes the members of the Executive Committee. Other members of the CLF Steering Committee are:

Gavin Kleespies (Executive Director, Cambridge Historical Society)
Karen Marryat (SVP/Chief Marketing Officer, Cambridge Savings Bank)
Gus Rancatore (owner, Toscanini's Ice Cream)
Alex and Jodi Robbins (owners, William Henry Furniture)
Gerry Wolf (owner, 1369 Coffee House)
Other aspects of the CLF Mission are directed by smaller, more focused committees, chaired by Steering Committee Members. These committees, their missions, and their chairpersons are:
Business Improvement Committee (develops events and seminars for CLF members): Jodi Robbins, chair
Events Committee (manages CLF public events): no current chairperson
Government Affairs Committee (focuses on relations with the City of Cambridge): Josh Gerber, chair
Marketing/Directory Committee (develops the Members' Directory and other CLF marketing materials): Karen Marryat and Gavin Kleespies, co-chairs
Membership Committee (manages relations with existing and prospective CLF members): Lee Joseph and Gerry Wolf, co-chairs
Website Committee (responsible for ongoing improvements to the CLF web/social media presence): no current chairperson
